“CONTINUE TO REMEMBER THOSE IN PRISON AS IF YOU WERE TOGETHER WITH THEM IN PRISON, AND THOSE WHO ARE MISTREATED AS IF YOU YOURSELVES WERE SUFFERING.” HEBREW 13:3

Working alongside our partners, church and missionaries, Elim Missions is committed to standing alongside the persecuted Church.

According to the Pew Research Center, Christians face harassment and intimidation in 145 countries worldwide. In a number of countries where they constitute a religious minority, this treatment can range from discrimination, harassment, and violence by state and non-state actors, to imprisonment or death.

We work alongside Christians who face persecution because, firstly, the bible tells us to.

Secondly, within Elim’s own history we have the tragic events of June 1978 in the Vumba, modern Day Zimbabwe. To read more about the Vumba Massacre please CLICK HERE to download our booklet.

Thirdly, we stand with the persecuted church because they need us to. They need to know that their brothers and sisters around the world are praying for them and seeking God on their behalf.
